De Cheese Factory in Volendam is een unieke winkel aan de sfeervolle haven, waar we dagelijks bezoekers van over de hele wereld ontvangen. Op enthousiaste wijze nemen wij hen mee in de wereld van onze ambachtelijke Hollandse Goudse kaas.

Als allround verkoopmedewerker geef je korte presentaties over het kaasmaakproces – van melk tot het eindproduct – en laat je bezoekers proeven van onze heerlijke kazen. Daarnaast beantwoord je vragen, help je klanten bij hun aankopen en zorg je ervoor dat de winkel er verzorgd uitziet en goed bevoorraad is.

Je wordt onderdeel van een enthousiast en betrokken team. Afhankelijk van jouw beschikbaarheid, kun je ook worden ingezet in onze andere winkel in Volendam of op een van onze locaties op Schiphol, waar wij sinds 1958 actief zijn met diverse retail winkels op het gebied van Toys, Gifts, Food en Souvenirs.

About the job:

Cheese Factory Volendam is a beautiful store, located in the harbor of Volendam, where we receive visitors from all over the world.
We enthusiastically introduce them to the world of our Dutch Gouda cheese.

We give (short) presentations about how our cheese is made, allowing our visitors to experience the craft of cheese making from milk to the delicious end product.

Together with the team, you are ready to answer questions for visitors, you let them taste the different cheeses and of course you help sell the different cheeses and accessories. You also ensure that the store looks neat and products are replenished.

We are looking for a new colleague for Cheese factory in Volendam and depending on the schedule, your work can also take place in our other store in Volendam or at Schiphol. Where we have been located since 1958 with various retail stores. Think of Toys, Gifts, Food and Souvenirs.

• Je bent gastvrij, enthousiast, stressbestendig en hebt een commerciële instelling;

• Je vindt het leuk om voor groepen te spreken en presentaties te geven;

• Je hebt affiniteit met retail, verkoop of toerisme (ervaring is een pre);

• Je spreekt goed Engels (meer talen zijn een plus);

• Je bent flexibel inzetbaar tussen 09:00 en 19:30, ook in het weekend.

WHAT WE ASK FROM YOU:

• As an all-round sales employee, you welcome our visitors;

• You are proactive, social, enthusiastic and sales-oriented, stress-resistant;

• Speaking to large groups is easy for you because of the presentations

• we give to our visitors;

• Team player; you enjoy achieving a goal together with your colleagues;

• You have a good command of the Dutch language;

• Experience in Retail, Hospitality or Tourism is a plus;

• You have an affinity with sales;

• Flexible in working hours (09:00-19:30), including weekends;

WHAT WE OFFER

• Gross monthly salary € 2.416,15 based on full-time

• (Salary in accordance with the collective labor agreement for Tourism and excellent secondary employment conditions);

• One year contract;

• Part-time or full-time contract (24 – 37 hours);
